Thanks for the heads up La Tasha though I don't think much of it at the moment but I will definitely keep coming back to the thread and keep an eye on it. :)

OK, maybe I'm the nutcase here, but is it possible this was just an innocent question? There was a major (well deserved) fuss over G-Man regarding his competition at SGOA by MKFer's, and maybe the poster thought he was an elite skater or an up and comer she didn't know about. While I realize he's a young man and, of course, we want to do everything possible to protect him, this almost seems like an overreaction.
I appreciate the fact that we have new appointed moderators here, but I'm also starting to notice that there seems to be an uptick in other posters deciding what threads must be evaluted by said moderators. There was nothing foul, suspicious or even odd in Joanna's post, and while I certainly don't want to see MKF overrun with trolls, I think we have to be reasonable regarding a poster's freedom to speak. I'm not wild about the idea that a perfectly innocent question or statement I might post must be "sent to the principal's office" and evaluated by a moderator because someone who is not a moderator perhaps read something into it besides what was there. I'm not trying to create a problem here, but I like the freedom that posters have here to ask questions and state opinions, and while moderation by those appointed to do so is valuable, I wouldn't want anyone to stop posting here or feel intimidated because they feel a self-appointed watchdog is following their every move.
Just a thought.

Joanna has a checkered posting history at MKF, and that's why I was concerned about that thread. In fact, Joanna made a rude comment regarding G MAN in this thread (http://pub1.ezboard.com/fmichellekwanforumspoilers.showMessage?topicID=664 9.topic), which was quickly edited by a moderator. I agree that free speech should be protected at MKF, but harassing another poster should not be tolerated.

Point well taken, LaTasha, and I understand, but we do have moderators to do this job and just because a poster has a history of some questionable posts doesn't mean absolutely everything they say should be interpreted as suspicious. I'm not defending Joanna's other posts, especially since I didn't see them, but again, we have moderators to keep an eye on this. I believe your heart and intentions were in the right place, but still, all of us non-moderators have to be careful as there can be a fine line between being helpful and being invasive. I'm sure the moderators will keep their wise eye on things.

Well, she's not the only one.

I think we understand it could be an innocent question which is probably why they are keeping an eye on it instead of editing it. I agree we don't want to overreact, however, I think it is probably a good idea to err on the side of being a little careful about personal comments.

I agree that it was an innocent question, and we don't want to overreact. I don't have any problem with other posters alerting us to questionable threads, whether here in feedback, through PM, or through e-mail. I'd rather have someone alert us to something they find questionable than have one of the moderators miss a potentially bad thread. While adding more moderators was a huge help, we still can't read every thread.
And also remember that just because someone points out a thread, doesn't mean anything will be done if we think it's fine. This has always taken place at MKF.
