Questions about thread in Random Chat

How did it manage to come back? Or has it always been there in Random Chat?

It's this one I am talking about.

Looks like someone dug it out of the grave! I've always liked that thread -- good to see it back.

Prior to the responses to this thread in September (this month), there was some activity on the thread during July 03. Which indicates that this thread has never really died due to enough consistant posts made in it.
Enough posts, on a consistant basis, have been made on the thread that it has yet to reach page 20 of Random Chat. When a thread reaches that 20th page (the bottom of the page I believe), the thread drops off and is gone.

Does that make sense?
