question on url

forgive me for my inquiry, but i noticed a few days ago that the pub1.ezboard in the url address changed to pub165. i know it may not be anything significant, but i just thought i'd ask because i'm so used to seeing it as pub1...i honestly kinda thought it made the forum special. but that's just me...

MKF was one of the early forums on ezboard, so that's why it was pub1, it wasn't that we were anything special. I have no idea why it was changed, I wondered that too. I think maybe they are trying to space things out so there wouldn't be so many forums on the one server? As we know, pub1 was pretty slow.

I got a letter in my ez inbox about them testing for the local user's. Not sure if this has anything to do with the change in the URL.
