Ever have a picture like this:
www.ziyifilms.com/members...ssorig.jpg (http://www.ziyifilms.com/members/yjl923/ayudressorig.jpg)
that you want to make a graphic out of but the stupid text is in the way? If the background is pretty uniform and solid there is a really easy way to get rid of the text and go from the pic above to this:
www.ziyifilms.com/members...ddress.jpg (http://www.ziyifilms.com/members/yjl923/ayucoloreddress.jpg)
1. Open the file in Photoshop and select the Rectangular Marquee tool, which for most Photoshop users is the top left tool on the floating toolbar.
2. Select an inconspicuous part of the background that would be good for duplicating, as in the screen cap: www.ziyifilms.com/members...rquee1.jpg (http://www.ziyifilms.com/members/yjl923/rectmarquee1.jpg) (I also circled the Rectangular Marquee tool).
3. Edit > Define Pattern. Name your pattern and click OK.
4. Take the marquee tool and draw around the text you want to remove, like in this screen cap: www.ziyifilms.com/members...arquee.jpg (http://www.ziyifilms.com/members/yjl923/rectangularmarquee.jpg)
5. Edit > Fill. Where it says "Use," select Pattern. Then go find the pattern you just created (under Custom Pattern) and select it. Hit OK. The text should now be gone.
6. Repeat steps 4-5 for the other section of text.
7. Select > Deselect.
There...you should now have something resembling the second link from the top. Let me know if any questions. :)
