Could someone make an avatar for me?

I hope it isn't too rude to ask this. I'm an idiot when it comes to photo editing; actually, I'm just an idiot... Anyhoo, could someone make an avatar from a picture I have? I don't know how to go about it, and you all are so very talented. It's not even a great photo, but the only one I have taken myself. I trust that someone will tell me if this request is out of line.
