Anyone know the most probable weather that will be in DC during Worlds? Is it usually warm at the end of March or does it usually rain and its windy? Anyone know yet?

I know there is a site where you can see the aproximate temperatures a month in advance but i lost the link some time ago.

I gotta start predicting what to pack! Its almost here! Its almost here! :D :D

Hi Kwansong,

I just received my tickets today and inside
the envelope was a form letter talking
about D.C. It said that it is usually around
the mid 50's in March.
But with the extra snow that they got, it might
make it even cooler. Hopefully it won't. :lol
Hope this helps you in deciding what to
pack. :)
Looking forward to seeing you at Worlds.

take care,
~nice angel~

If you are from the Northeast, figure that D.C. is anout a month-6 weeks ahead of us temperature-wise.

Last time we went to DC it was April and we had one absolutely frigid day when it poured and was not above 40, and two days that were over 80! The other days were inbetween.

I'm planning on checking the weaterchannel.com and monitoring the temp in D.C for a week or so before I leave so I don't end up brining my entire wardrobe, you know "just in case"...:lol

Thanks guys for the information. I really hope its in the 60s and 70s. I dont want to drag winter clothing down to DC. Ive had enough of winter to last me the next 2 years!

I live a couple of hours out of DC- weather that late in March is normally in the mid-upper 60's. Of course, we haven't had "normal" weather this past winter so who knows!?

kwansong: Some winter clothes may be a good idea in any event because, I assume, you'll be spending A LOT of time inside the MCI Center near the ice ;) I've been in arenas that are quite comfortable and others that are absolutely freezing. Best to be prepared with something warm, I think, just in case.

I just checked the 10 day forecase on weather.com and they predict showers over the weekend and on Monday, so you may want to bring a small travel umbrella or a raincoat with you just in case. The temperatures are predicted as upper 50's during the day and high 30's or low 40's at night. However, I never trust predictions this far in advance, anyway.
