Worlds Get-Together After Ladies LP?

There was talk earlier about meeting somewhere after the ladies' LP. I can't remember if we decided anything--my mind has been elsewhere lately :) .

I don't think anything was decided. It would be great and if there were any post parties going on at the official hotel which I think one is the Grand Hyatt we could all join there.
We could maybe just run into some of the skaters.

Possibly at dinner, everyone could decide.

Jvanal has the right idea. Go party at the hotel where the post parties will be held. We did that after the 2002 US Nats and we saw many skaters. Michael Weiss was playing pool in the same room we had dinner.

It was quite cool! I got my picture taken with Todd, Karen Kwan, and so many others I can't even remember now. So it's on to the Grand Hyatt? Sounds like fun!

Count me in! Maybe everyone can decide while at dinner where to meet afterwards at the MCI or what place at the Grand Hyatt and all can travel from MCI to Grand Hyatt. It could be a short walk or cab share!

That's a great idea, I would love to go somewhere after the ladies LP. I like the idea of the hotel so that maybe we can see skaters! :)

It would be great to meet after the LP. Is it walking distance from the MCI center? I will be depending on the Metro for transportation.

Is right by the convention center, only about 3-4 (?) blocks from the arena -- very walkable. Just remember that the Metro shuts down at 2 AM Sat nites!

The skaters' hotel is the Marriott Metro Center right across from the Grand Hyatt. However that hotel doesn't have a lot of bar/restaurant space, so I don't know if the skaters will really be there.:rolleyes
