Another FSU thread - cameras okay at MCI, but evidently NOT at the convention center. Has anyone tried to get a camera in yet???

I had a camera in my bag today and no one said anything. It was in it's case - the soft kind with a zipper around it. Maybe they thought it was something else. In any event, the C Ctr is definitely NOT a good place to take pictures. More on that in my report.

The lighting in the Convention Center was way too dark for picture-taking... forget about taking cameras there.

I took a camera in on Friday. They just said not to use flash. I shot some photos with a zoom lens with Kodak 800 MAX film. The photos were dark and grainy. With a higher ASA film, you *might* get better photos, but higher ASA photos also tend to be grainier.
The good news is, at the MCI Center, the photos came out very well with the same camera settings and film. MCI Center is definitely the preferred venue for photos.

Hi everyone I actually just got back from Worlds I volunteered at the Convention Center and altough the lights were dim cameras without a flash were permitted and for people who could not turn there flash out the volunteers were telling the public to put dark tape over the flash.
