ABC Figure Skating Challenge in Bridgeport, CT

Its taking place on April 8th, (its a Tuesday), in Harbor Yard. Michelle, Sarah, Sasha, Irina, Elena, Fumie, and Yoshie are all scheduled to compete for the women. Then for the men there is a long list as well. Also, there will be 2 exhibitions performed by pair teams/dance teams.

I really want to go. Its a close drive for me so I want to take advantage of the NorthEast competitions when they come here.
I was wondering if anyone else was planning on going? Is this the "mother's day" competition that they air later on? Does anyone know anything about Harbor Yard?

Tickets go on sale on Monday morning through ticketmaster. The USFSA website has more info about it.

I got tickets this morning. I just saw SOI at the Arena at Harbor Yard and it is a great, medium sized arena. The parking was right next to the arena (and only $2!) and the location of the stadium was convenient - right off the highway. I was thrilled when I heard the event was at Bridgeport.

I received my ticket in todays mail, Sect. 100 Row AA. It's a great seat real close to the ice. Since Michelle, Sarah, Sasha, and even Irina are scheduled to compete, I was wondering how many others from MKF will be there?

you know, ticketmaster said that I had to pick up the ticket at the box office, but then it showed up in the mail, go figure!

Should we carry signs like "the ISU must go" or something similar? or howabout "Speedy SUCKS"

Mike, If I recall correctly there are only 4 or at most 6 rows of double lettered seats. I had tickets to SOI at that arena in row F and they were great seats.

Any tickets left? I am fully preapred to blow off work and trek down to CT after my classes end at 2:30.
Edited to say WOW! I technically don't have classes because my field study is cancelled because of standardized testing for the kiddos.

Dave, $ave your money for the fall event at Madison Square Garden. That way you get great skating and NY in the fall!
