That is too bad. A few articles I read by Canadian writers didn't seem like they were being very fair to her so I can't say I am surprised that she is done.
She had a great career and moved up some places from her short so Congratulations to her.

I know a lot of people hate her because she is not the most dynamic lady out there but I will miss her. She always worked hard and carried herself with class.

6-time ladies Canadian champion is nothing to sneeze at. Contratulations on a long and wonderful career and happy retirement, Jennifer!

People shouldn't hate Jennifer at all. I think she's a nice lady. I wasn't drawn into her skating but I always rooted for her to win Nationals and do well in her other competitions.

I'm sorry to hear that, but she's had a wonderful career and has a lot to be proud of. She's always represented her country and her sport well and was consistently friendly and gracious to fans.

I've always thought she was a class act. She wasn't given some of the natural abilities we see in other skaters, but she worked very, very hard to make the most of what she had.

Now all we need is Liashenko, Slutskaya and Sokolova to finally announce their retirement...

I was never her biggest fan but she worked hard and represented canada to the best of her abilities so good luck to her and I hope she has a great time in this next stage of her life.

Jenn Robinson, has got to be by far one of the most elegant women to grace the sport of Figure Skating! I wish her the best of luck with all of her future endeavors!

Did she really only finished as high as nineth in WC. I thought in 2000, she came in like sixth or fifth place in the LP.

That's sad. She wasn't the fastest skater, but always tried hard and was elegant. I always loved her costumes... Best wishes to her for the future!

"Good"
I sure hope this wasn't mean in the sarcastic, negative tone. You never can tell online.:rollin

Was Jen the Jr. World bronze medalist when Michelle won way back in 1993? And Irina was 2nd? I know, I should just go rewatch the tape! :rollin She seemed so much older than Michelle then, how old is she now? Wow, when you think how long some of these ladies have been around...it makes it even more amazing that Michelle has stayed at the top for so long when some others have been around and not always on the podium. She IS amazing...

geez... i'm sad
I really liked Jen Robinson.
Truly one of the most beautiful skaters... I'd say "hot" but she's married, which disqualifies her for that word haha. She seems like such a down to earth, wonderful girl. And she truly looked... amazing in her liebestraum costume at Olys... sigh
God bless her wherever she goes

She was for sure not the junior world bronze medalist that year....I think the podium was Michelle, Tanja and Irina.
I'm sad to see her go, but do believe that it's time. I admire her so much for all the knocks she's taken along the way and how she has continued to try and improve. She took Canadian ladies skating a long way.
She's is without a doubt one of the sweetest people I've ever met and hope she has a wonderful pro career. I also hope she gets into broadcasting...I think she's extremely well spoken.

She was like 10th or something, I believe. On the tape I have, she was interviewed at the end. Just rewatched it...all I could remember was that she seemed so old compared to both Michelle and Irina!
