I watched Roger win at the French Open on TV today. :clap

He looked so together, so calm, yet so athletic. I've always enjoyed watching Roger play. Maybe it's because he's so powerful, yet graceful, and I always feel that he plays the most cerebral tennis I've ever witnessed. I do believe he's in a league of his own, and I'm very happy that he achieved this goal he has worked for so long and hard. Today I cried when he did, and it felt good.

Congratulations Roger, you rock!

Roger is my second favorite, after his main rival Rafa Nadal (I just love a guy with long hair.) :) If Rafa couldn't win it, I'm glad Roger did.

There's a lot to like with Rafa, and I'm a sucker for long hair myself (she says while smiling at her sweetie's long, thick, grey ponytail as she types.) :) I wish my hair was as nice as his.

Now that Rafa has pulled out of Wimbledon due to injury, Wimbly doesn't seem as exciting this year. I loooooove Roger - but I really like Rafa too, and I hope his knees aren't going to effect his career. He's so feisty, athletic and soooooo talented. Good luck to both our favs in their upcoming endeavors.

Awwww, Rafa withdrew from Wimbldeon :( I was hoping for a battle between Roger and him again. Common, Roger now. If he wins at Wimbeldon, he would be Pete Sampra's record right? He is tied now...

Everyone was hoping for a rematch--last year's was the greatest Wimbledon final EVER--but Rafa's knees are sore. Venga aqui, mijo, y voy los beso. :)

That would explain why he lost in such an early round at Rolland Garros. OTOH, Roger's case of mono last year would explain his less-than-stellar performances earlier in the year. I hope they're both healthy again soon.
