Looking at my Ticketmaster receipt - I purchased tickets last year for the 7:30p show. Was that show cancelled? On the COI website I only see one show - at 3:00p. Anyone know anything about this?
The bummer is - I won't be able to go anyway! My sister in law is getting married that day. I have great seats...Front row in section 216. Anyone interested?

Anna, Ticketmaster sent out an email a couple of months ago saying that the time had been changed. They didn't say why. Dangit, your tickets are much better than mine!

Hmmmm - I must have deleted it! So we just use the 7:30p tickets I guess?
My tickets say VIP, but since I bought them eons ago, I don't remember what that means:lol
I really want to go, but I don't think I can miss this wedding...I'll have to think about it.

I haven't even bought my tickets - wow, your seats are fab and VIP!!
Does that mean we won't get to see you *again*???? :(
I'm waiting to buy them with my MKF homies - though all of you are my homies - but the ones that are visiting... will be here.
*sigh* seats don't look so hot right now.
[ calling out to Francis ] come! :P

I have center ice like 2 or 3rd row. I will see you guys at the lunch/dinner thing hopefully.

VIP means you paid $20 more to sit in the front row. :lol If I didn't already have my tickets, I'd definitely go for yours.

VIP doesn't mean backstage, it just mean front row = more expensive ticket like michellesmom said. I wonder what the backstage pass will say this year, "special VIP"?

Anna, I just had an idea--why don't you bring your tickets to the Worlds dinner and try to sell them there?
And, yes, you just use the 7:30 tickets for the 3pm show.

MM -
I've sold them - but I'll physically hand them off at the Worlds dinner.
See you all there!

Oh bummer Anna, I wasn't able to purchase decent seats since Ticketmaster messed up when they originally went on sale. I guess I'll still have to wait until closer to show date.

Just bumping 'cause this was about to fall off the page. I'm probably going to be camping out with the Girl Scouts on Friday night, so I would rather do dinner afterwards than lunch before, if nobody else has any preference.

Anna,
Do you watch gymnastic? The US Olympic trials are going to be Anaheim. They had the World Championships there in 2003 for gymnastics. I was thinking about going, but I am spending entirely too much money traveling. I have gotta see some gymnastics this year. I got the fever!

allow me to complain for a sec... about why Champions on Ice is only coming to Anaheim in the So-Cal region. The tickets are practically sold out on both the lower and the second level, and there are people bidding on ebay for tickets, whereas in other parts of the country the arena for alot of the shows haven't really been full.
But the VIP seating is full, the lower level is full, the second level is full (well, according to ticketmaster) and all that is left is the third level (nosebleeds).
I've been waiting til two weeks before the show (meaning now) for seats to possibly open, but it looks like there's nothing. *sighs*
Anyway, I just wanted to vent... *sighs* and keep on looking for some seats. It's so much easier looking for one ticket (where there is one) but when it comes to two together... yeah.. no chance there.

Grace, I still need to buy tickets too, but was thinking to try and buy them at the box office on the day of the show. My roommate did that for a sold out concert recently and got really good seats. Apparently these good seats are held until the day of the show and then released.
Has anyone tried this?

CJus,
That's the hot tip. I buy my ticket a week before the show and they free up the good seats reserved for VIPs. It's a matter of luck.

Keep trying Grace! Think of the annoying, I mean, lucky people, who got front row seats to the concert the day of the show. It can happen. Just keep looking. :) Even try going to the box office the day of the show, if it comes down to it.
Besides, since I won't be there, you won't have the Heather Conspiracy to deal with, so it will all work out. :)

I've got a silly question. For those of you that have been to COI shows at the pond before, what's the temp like? Is it really cold or room temperature? This will be my first time at this venue and I just don't want to have to lug in extra sweaters and such. Thanks :)

I've been there a few times and it was not cold at all. I've never sat really close to the ice though, so that could affect the temp you feel. Hope that helps :) .

Bebe, it's not cold at all. I've sat 3rd row and you can't really feel the cold. The temperature is mild. :)

I forgot to mention Bebe that if you are going to the show, we plan to do an MKF luncheon before the show if you'd like to go. The more the merrier! :) Just check in this forum where it says: "Official Anaheim COI lucheon"
