Don't worry about defending your title, just attack both your programs. Be a tough as nails competitor, never giving an inch. Be a Biscotti as opposed to a mushy cookie and an Espresso as opposed to Decaf. Say to all the naysayers, "Don't write me off just yet (ahem, Hersh et al, ahem) I am Michelle Kwan, hear me roar!!!" Michelle, relax, take a deep breath, and skate with your heart. You always mesmerize your many fans with your performances, when we feel your soul on the ice reach out and touch the fans in the stadium and/or the tv audiences. "KEEP REACHING FOR THE STARS" MICHELLE. (A quote from the movie "Spencer's Mt" when Clay-boy's mother gave him this encouragement before he left for college.) You will always be "Simply the Best," IMO. The best athelete: classy, elegant, talented, and physically fit. I wanted to add, that IMO, a great athlete places their education first before their sport. As a mother, I thank you for being such a great role-model to our youth and showing this example to other young athletes. I want you and all sports figures to have the opportunity to have both educationall pursuits and sports in their lives. I realize you are not the first athlete to attempt this, but our your fans realize how difficult this can be. Good luck to you balancing out this awesome task. Michelle Kwan Rules!
