Michelle, I hope you to read my story someday. I've loved you ever since I knew you in 1996. It was around the Worlds when I first got to know you by reading two articles on you. They said, working vigorously hard, you became one of the youngest world champions. I was having a hard time those days from 1993 to 1998. I had to live with my grandmother because there were so many problems in my family. My brother was sick to death, and my dad was having a hard time, as well. Nobody cared even though I didn't study at all. I was struggling in my school. I was always upset and lonely... I often thought I would be happy if I were dad... You may laugh at me, but I was neither impressed nor amazed even if I read a beautiful story and a biography of great person such as Beethoven. However, you moved me. You taught me that "dreams can come true when you work hard". You were the one who taught me that "life is beautiful and fair". Michelle, you've inspired my life and you've made me love ice skating. Thank you for everything you've done for me indirectly. I wish you the best of everthing, and good luck on this year's worlds!
