You seem to choose a lot of music featuring violin in your programs. I hope you might consider selecting sections from Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto. Joshua Bell has an excellent version of this on CD with the Baltimore Symphony. The opening of the 1st movement (or maybe even sections of the 2nd movement) would be beautiful, with a fiery ending from the last section of the brief 3rd movement (after the trumpet fanfare section, when the solo violin reenters to the end). The concerto has excellent contrasts of moods and would be a wonderful dramatic long program.
