But, then again, I am really bad at writing poetry, so whaddya expect?? LOL
With hair like fine silk, and eyes of soft brown,
Michelle takes the ice and starts skating around.
An Axel, a Loop, and look - a sit spin!
She's on fire today, I think that she'll win!
So graceful and gorgeous, my look at that line!
The applause is all hers, the tears of joy are all mine.
Now here comes the Lutz, the Flip and a Toe,
Her landing's exquisite, and so is her flow.
Now the program is finished and we wait...our breath we do hold
She's smitten the audience, will the judges award gold?
The marks do go up, Michelle wins a medal of gold!
her technique was texbook, her artistry bold.
Well, we're happy she won, Gold is better than Silver,
but what matters most if that we got to SEE HER.
