I just got a K-Pick blade and have run into a problem of... they won't fit into my guards. :boggled
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks! :LP

I figured out a way to get the guards to fit. :)
I just took a knife and cut out the front of the guard until the K-Pick went in. :)

How does the k-pick really affect things? They look interesting... but I don't exactly have the money to splurge. Are they worth it?

They're supposed to provide more stability in toe jumps, that's what I've read (somewhere, don't ask me where). They look really cool. (Teso is my sister so I get to gawk at her new 1500s and K-Pick blades, they're so pretty).

I actually haven't gotten them on the ice yet. I got the Reidell 1500 HLS boots that I'm breaking in a bit more before I step on the ice (with the hopes of not killing my feet too much LOL). I'll be sure to post about the K-Pick when I use them. They look pretty cool and are supposed to provide good security with toe jumps (which I need because I'm a little weird about toe jumps... don't know why but I've never felt secure with them).

I have gold seal k-picks. Apparantly they help with toe jumps, especially quads, (or so I've read!) Getting them however will not turn your doubles into quad's......I thought maybe it would..........:) I've had them for awhile, and haven't noticed much of a difference with my jumps. I did notice a lot better edge control, but I switched from a pair of professional blades....so it was a HUGE leap in that department.
Anywho, I haven't had any problems with my guards....I use just the generic ones.
ETA Does anyone use the new hyperbolic blades? I saw someone at a competition with them on, they look really kewl!!!!
