There has been a problem with the use of inappropriate images being used in avatars and user signatures as of late. We've been too lenient at letting these images be posted. Therefore, we have modified the FAQ to include the addition of not permitting images that are not appropriate for young children. This includes half naked pictures of men, women, of Michelle, of cartoon images. It also includes scary images. This is a family forum. That means any image one may post should be deemed appropriate for young children. Think "Disney". Currently, some of the images being used in sigs and/or avatars are inappropriate. Short of having to PM each and everyone of you (especially since we are at fault at letting these images be posted for the duration of time that we have permitted them), we are having a leniency period of two weeks where people are asked to remove these images. If after this period of time the images are not removed/replaced, we will do it for you.

This does not have anything to do with images, but I have also noticed an increase in inappropriate language (sexual) on the forum. I would like to remind again that we do not permit this sort of language here. This is not a forum only for adults or young teens. Since Michelle has many fans that tend to skew younger, this forum is also read by very young children. This may take the fun out of it for some of you, but there are other forums where this kind of behavior and language is permitted. This is not to say you are not welcome here, just that we want this forum to be open to everyone and be a place where young children can venture to.

Modified section of the FAQ: General Rules for Images Posted on the Forum:

(f) Images with offensive or controversial content are prohibited. This includes images of suggestive sexual nature, half naked pictures, disturbing or scary images.

If any of the images being used break any of the rules above or do not seem appropriate for our forum, you will be asked to either remove, modify or replace the image(s) as requested by our Staff.

MKF Staff
