The lack of quality in this year's ladies competition showed as a flawed program from a woman who was 22nd at last March's World Championships was enough to take first over a clean but simple program.

It's almost that time of the year....no not Christmas, but around when I am sure Michelle used to get in prime shape for Nationals, you know she's probably sleep-skating nowadays, and I bet even that is better than some of the stuff I have seen this season!

Yeah, honestly I always mention Michelle, because she is ours, but I also really miss Sasha, and even Irina, the last 2 Olympic cycles were dominated by the presense of these two ladies along with Michelle, even if the winners of both the OGM's weren't among the 3...

Well, a great skater is someone who leaves the sport differenly and better. Michelle, Sasha or Irina haven't announced anything about retirement, even though there were false articles.

hahahaha...I think that's what happend. Somehow, even Irina could do better than some of these ladies this season. Mao...WOW! She's very inconsistant this year.

Thanks for posting. It's good that they acknowledge Michelle and the others. It was weird watching worlds 2006 without Michelle, Shizuka and Irina. It's like they've always been there. I wish we could see them skate against each other again.
