I have an idea for the trivia contest. I actually entered that option as a whim, but since most people can participate, I figure it would be the popular one. I was thinking of starting an ongoing trivia contest that goes for a year. However, to do this, I am most likely going to need someone's input before I take this on, and a team of helpers. In the meantime, I'll start the graphics contest.
This is my take on the trivia contest.
- Each week, there will be a new trivia question.
- Questions for the contest can be submitted to me The project head / Trivia Team. Anyone can submit questions. The project head can choose which question she/he will want to use for that week.
- People will have a week to submit the question to the Trivia Team.
- Each trivia question will have its own thread. Once the trivia question period has ended, the thread will be closed.
- Someone/Team can tabulate the scores for each week for each member.
- All questions have to be related to Michelle in some way. If it's not obvious, the relation must be explained.
- At the end of the year, there will be three winners for first, second and third. All of whom will win some prize (As of now, TBD).
- The Trivia Team cannot participate in the contest.
This is a lot of hard work, but I can see the potential for it being a lot of fun. I don't know if that might spark some sort of discussion, or how it can - maybe someone can have another idea how that could - maybe people can help each other by pointing them to videos, or links, etc. The questions should range from very easy to very difficult.
For the trivia team, I would need volunteers, and I would give all of you access to this area.
In the meantime, I'm looking for some existing plugins for vbulletin that might have this already built in, but haha, I am not getting my hopes up.
I'd love to hear what other ideas the rest of you have for this trivia contest to maximize fun, but make it easier for those organizing it. : )
