OMG...I just downloaded the game demo...and it already is SOOOO COOL! I didn't change my dress so I practiced in the white dress...I made a program...and I substituted one of the given music files with one of my own midis (by changing the name and putting it in the foler) so that I could skate to different music...well it worked and I had Michelle skating to Salome! and well anyways...I was just messing around and I got Michelle to land a 3axel, 3lutz, 3flip, 3loop, 2axel, 3toe/3toe, and then I made her fall on the 3salchow =(. But it was still pretty cool...the only thing is that it takes a really long time to do everything and it also takes a while to make the program. But there seems to be a serious lag in the program. Besides that...the game is totally fun! =D

Cool Triplelutz! Maybe the actual game version is faster. So they didn't have MK's "real" music available? Where did you get Salome from?

I downloaded the demo also and it's so much fun! I made a program to the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto (which someone should seriously skate to IMO), and was pretty pleased with it, especially the first half. I had a *perfect* place for the triple/triple! Trouble is, it is kind of slow so I'd sometimes be off with the music even when I was just playing the program and not actually skating. I have a 32 meg computer, so maybe that's why. Guess I'd better upgrade to 64 soon LOL! btw, does the real version "fast-foward" the music as well as the program? My biggest complaint is that I have to wait for the music to reach the point I want in order to see if the element goes well with it. Lara Michele :-)

Karin? I want to play it so badly; unfortunately, I don't meet the system requirements. What a bummer!

The computer I'm using is not mine!!!... I didn't ask if I can download MK's game yet... so I'll have to do that soon if I wanna play!!!... But I'm stuffed with trying out a new statistical software...so now the computer has 3 stats programs on... So we'll see... Hey BTW...did you see the Pokemon movie yet???...my cousins tried to get me to go...but I don't have the time!!!...they got all excited with free Pokemon cards!!!... Apparently Psyduck ate Togepi's apple!!! Hahaha...I luv the guy...he's got these funny eyes...and a banana tail!!! OVA OVA OVA

Has anyone landed any triple-triple besides the 3toe-3toe? Nope, Karin, I haven't seen the new Pokemon flick yet. I was supposed to go see it with my brother, sister-in-law, and nephews, but they didn't buy me a ticket because my brother didn't think I would want to see it. As if! I can't believe the hype that this cartoon was/is getting. I heard that the Burger King fast food chains over here had bad public relations over Pokemon toys that came with kids meals. They apparently ran out before the next shipment and kids were crying and having their parents yell at employees. It was reported on the local news that one child stabbed another child over Pokemon cards. Ridiculous, isn't it?

Yup...in Montreal...a 14 yr old was stabbed by a 12 yr old who had stolen the pack of cards of a 10 yr old...who was the 14 yr old's brother as reported in the news!!! LOL...what is going on??? I mean...I don't remember bseball or hockey cards going so outa hand...do you??? Now...if they only had figure skating cards...we'd all be classy and civil wouldn't we hee hee??? :O)

Triplelutz -- Great idea about using your own midis even in the demo! I'm really anxious for more music choices.... I will have to try that. I haven't noticed too bad of a lag in the program.... perhaps it's your system? Lara Michelle -- I had the same problem in creating my programs since it was hard to get the elements to match up with the part of the music that you want. Every time I added an element, I clicked on the bar at a point almost at the end so I could see if it worked well. Karin -- I don't know what it's like in the full version, but the demo lists doubles and triples for all the edge jumps and all the toe jumps, and then it has two combo jumps: a triple-triple and a triple-double. You can't specify which jumps are in the combo though. You can do the Kwan spiral, and it looks awesome! It also list a "Kwan spin" which is a flying (?) sit spin into a Y-spin.

So it's called the Kwan spin??? Is MK the only one who does the spin combo like that??? And in the game...do they call the Kwan-spiral a Kwan-spiral???

They call the Kwan Spiral an inside outside spiral
Karin

To Karin and OoJoshuaoO--Sorry guys, can't do a quad or any other jump combo than 3toe/3toe because you see the game has a feature where you click the box and press add and you make Michelle do the move you see, there is a box for all the triples and even doubles and I thought pressing the Triple Lutz box and then the Double Toe box would make Michelle do Triple Lutz/Double Toe, but I was SOOOO wrong. What Michelle does do is, Triple Lutz and then she turns and does a whole other entry into a Double Toe. And then there is a combinations section of boxes which includes: Spin Combination, Triple/Triple, Triple/Double, and Inside/Outside Spiral. Pressing Triple/Triple or Triple/Double only makes it so that she does 2 Triple Toes or a Triple Toe/Double Toe. So basically it is the only combination she can pull off. Oh and you can do a Kwan Spin (Y-spin) but she does a death drop into sit spin and moves up into it when you select it. Ummm Kwan spin is just called Inside-Outside spiral. Darn...couldn't there be two moves? =D GooGoo--I think it is my computer, cheap old piece of C**P!!! heh. I found Michelle Kwan's Salome music here---- http://members.aol.com/uhhden/michelle_kwan.html GO TO THE MUSIC CLIPS SECTION OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. LaraMichelle & Jen75--Totally my cruddy computer is making it so much slower =(. Oh and my music idea was a total epiphany, when I finally realized that I could just replace one of their awful midis with one of my own. But yeah, it's really simple, just change the name of your midi to the exact same name as one of theirs and change theirs to something else. Also just remember which one you change it to so that you can select it more easily.

I really want to play it, but my computer is too slow, too. I think I need it upgraded just for this. :-) I'm going to buy it though! You can find Salome on my site (click on Program Information). I know TripleLutz found it somewhere else (you can see it links to where I used to have my midi files.) I'm only saying this because it took me forever to find it, and a lot of the other music clips. Hours upon hours upon hours. And my friend Carol (who I thanked at the bottom of the page) also spent hours and hours looking. I hope that doesn't sound petty, but it did take an awfully long time to find a lot of the music clips since the music is so rare. Doesn't rach come with the demo? I downloaded it, and looked at the music files, and saw rach (though it seemed slower than what she skated to) and winter. LOL, of course I already had those two on my site (I edited the rach one myself, though not that seemlessly), so it didn't help with the endless search I have for her music clips.
