:_( Karin, can I live in u're room? Well.. my room only has 2 MK magazine clippings on the side of my desk. Both of them are commercials, one is "The Japan Open" . But I'm grateful, coz these clippings were sent from my friend who also like MK. when I asked her why didn't she keep those for herself, she said " I could always see her on TV" .. U guys are so lucky..

I may have exaggerated the last time about the amount of MK stuff I had. I have my poster of MK doing a spiral centered perfectly over my bed. I have a poster I bought from COI this year, which has MK in her Ariane costume, on the right door of my sliding closet. On my bookcase, I have one level with(going from left to right) my Bible & bible related books, a framed picture of me in my cap & gown, a prom favor & framed prom pic w/date THEN a framed picture of MK that I printed from the net then skating books that all mention MK in some way. My MK video collection and MK skating music is in one pile on the headboard of my bed. My pictures of MK are not on my walls, but in my scrapbook under my bed. I keep my MK autograph in my viewbinder so that I can deliberately show people when I'm on college campus. I have an MK background and screensaver. Unfortunately, my younger brother gets tired of seeing it so he changes both. Fortunately, I'm such a dedicated fan that I bother changing it back every 2 weeks. It's an endless cycle that we have going on. =) I also have a COI t-shirt of the cast this summer, but I don't really use it to decorate my room. I like to wear it about once every 2 weeks just to "spread the word". BTW, on the back of the t-shirt where it lists the names of the cast members, I always highlight MK's name. =) What I really need to do is to have an MK button and t-shirt and sweater made at the local mall. Any ideas as to which picture(s) would look best and where? I always pictured some kinda small, circular logo on the front, right side of the shirt or sweater and a nice, big, rectangular photo of Michelle on the back. What do you think? Okay, back on topic, if you took away the two posters, you wouldn't really notice I was an MK fan because all of my MK stuff is either hidden or not that noticable.

Karin, you say you have more than one MK poster? What's the other one? (Besides the Lyra spiral one) I HAD the poster from COI on my closet door but it just keeps slipping off! It's on a heap on the floor now! ha ha. I also have the autographed "wing it" post card framed and on a shelf on my bookcase. I have MK books on my book case as well. I always have MK wallpaper on my computer! Joshua, what MK music do you have out of curiosity? I still have such trouble finding her music.

Do they blow it up and put it on poster-like paper? What a great idea!

In my room there is a Michelle poster - the one with her Kwan spiral. In my study, I have master Tiger's poster framed. Michelle's books are on the book shelf of my study. In the den I framed Michelle's wing it post card on a small accent table. I put her autograph picture in a photo album/scrap book.

Wow! I love your descriptions! The Michelle poster is on the wall of my classroom so that it is the first thing I see every morning when I unlock the door. On my bulletin board there, is the ad "Be a champion for kids." At home, by my bed is the framed picture of Michelle from 98 Nationals which another Kwanophile had blown up and sent to me. I have my bear from Nationals on the clock-radio, as well as other skating figurines...dolls...and my skating ornament tree. My magazines and Michelle photo album are in a box in my closet. I have a Michelle article and photo folder...yet to be laminated...in my desk, and my attic is loaded with stuff...soup cans...and really large laminated pictures and articles that I have to reconfigure....Help! I need a bigger place to live!!!!

...but I only have two Michelle things you can see when you go into my room. Number one is an ad I got out of People magazine advertising the Winter Olympics on TV. Michelle is doing a spiral in her Winter dress and across the middle it says "Women of power". The other thing I have is the letter I got from Michelle thanking me for contributing to the MKGA CMN birthday project in a frame. Everything else I keep in a box beside my bed.

Don't feel bad pebbles, I don't have anything of MK hanging on my wall either. I've been an absolute fan of the graceful one since '94 yet the only MK stuff I have are a few MK clippings, the COI book and my collection of tapes. I'm not much of a collector on other things, sad to say, 'cause I don't have room to put them in. I am in the midst of getting all of MK's books...that's a start. Love to hear how you guys are decorating your room. BTW, I have absolutely nothing on my walls. Methinks interior design is not my forte.

I'm sad to say the MK paraphernalia has yet to fill my room. I have a shelf in my closet with my tapes, the two books that I have, a pile of magazines (that I have yet to clip), and my sketches. I did save a space for when I get an auto. pic. though darn it, that still remains missing from my small collection! Still anticipating and hoping for a doll though. Hey, Kerigan fans got one.

ok i have lots of michelle pics on my wall...i dont have the poster yet hMpH! but i REALLY want to get it. anyways, when i got the internet months and months and months ago, of course the first thing i looked up was michelle kwan, then i printed out about every pic there was of her (kept getting yelled at for using up all the paper and ink..haha). now they are either taped to my wall, or in my mk photobook...hehe...it's pretty bad tho, i have a whole mk collage on my wall, and the worst thing is i bought a coi calendar and i still have the month on june because that's where michelle's pic is *sigh*

Oh yeah and I have MK magazines in their own separate magazine holder (like her on the cover of Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, Total TV Guide, Women's Sports and Fitness). I too have MK articles in a folder in a drawer. I have pics I took from COI but I need a nice photo album for them-- I can't decide! Can anyone think of a photo album that would be cool to go with skating pictures?

I have gone through about $50 worth of ink cartridges for my color printer, with much of it used for pictures of Michelle. It's my money and my own equipment, so no one yells at me. Keith

Googoo: Make sure to get an acid free one to protect your photos and clippings. I now have an autographed thank you from Michelle to put in mine :-) I like to do the scrapbooking technique where you can trim pictures in different shapes and use acid free stickers and pens to decorate the pages. For example, you could take a picture of MK in her Lyra dress and use a stencil to cut it into the shape of an angel or you could overlay a sheet of pale blue paper with a space shaped like an angel overtop the picture and use that as the front page. Then you could write a name on the blue paper and not mess up your picture. Just an idea. I'm sure they have angel stickers too. I did one for my wedding and I decorated the pages with clippings of the wrapping paper and ribbons from our gifts and confetti that was sitting on the tables at our reception. I must also add that my maid of honor's (my sister's) dress was pale blue with spaghetti straps similiar to you know what costume worn by you know who. When I get a scanner I will show you a picture of the dress (without my sister in case she doesn't want to be seen, HA HA) Hopefully this will make up for the fact that there aren't any pictures of Michelle in my bedroom. It is mossy green and rose with gold accents and has dried flowers hanging on the walls. I also took a flowered curtain and bunched it at two places in the middle with flowers and put it over the bed like a swag if you know what I mean. My mother in law told me I should be an interior designer so maybe I should and then design a Kwan House. That would be fun. Any ideas for the Kwan house?

My room is Kwanaified. :) I have two posters hanging up of her, one is similar to the cover of her first book which I bought at the book fair, the other is the famous seen everywhere poster which I bought at Super K-Mart. On my bedroom door facing the hall way I have about 7 or 8 computer printed pictures hanging up along with a graphic I made that said "Gymnasts and fans only" (just thought I would add that). I have all of my MK books, magazines, etc. in a big purple tub, it's filled up to the top with books, magazines, etc. :) On my closet door there is a few color, full page pictures of MK which I took from BOI magazine. I have her autographed framed on my wall, another one framed on my night stand, and another one in a plastic protector on my wall. I have the envelope she sent the autograph in hagining on my wall... hmmm... oh yeah, on the backside of my door which faces my room I have a COI ad. I have a lot of clothes on my floor and lots of gymnastics pictures and posters, too, just thought I would through that in. :)

Karin....when you blow up pictures at copy places for a poster, does the resolution turn out worse? is the pic still pretty nice and clear or does it look like a bunch of dots? My room is...(was) kwanafied and gymnasticfied until my brother came in and knocked them all off. Anyone got any suggestions on how to put pics up so that they don't leave ugly tape marks or pin holes....

i have the one psoter of michelle doing a spiral in her lyra costume on the inside of my door. then b4 u walk into my room i have my wooden tape rack outside of my door ( my room is on the 2nd level of my house right after the stairs) so anyway on those tapes are ice skating/yankee baseball, and good episodes of the show days of our lives. i tend to tape tons of things. next i have my ice skating calender which is hangs over my shelf space. then in some of those shelves are mags w/ kwan on the cover and clippings from the newspapers from nationals/olym etc. and of course there is my 2 kwan books, one hard cover the other soft. and right above my dresser is a poster i got from champions on ice this past year w/ the cast on it. thats pretty much it as fara s ice skating goes. the rest of my room is all ny yankee stuff. w/ plaques and posters of andy pettitte/derek jeter/tino martinez/bernie williams/chuck knoblauch etc... i hope to get more ice skating stuff hopefully soon !!!! :0)

We are in the process of moving into a new house. My husband told me that I could have the extra bedroom for all my "stuff". I will plan to have a whole wall devoted to Michelle --poster from the Reidell advertisement, two large recent pictures with her autograph (black and white and the other in color) and two "thank-you" notes from her over the past couple of years a few other pictures which I have collected.
