If you could create a program for Michelle....

...How would you do it? 1) What music would you pick for Michelle if it was up to you? 2) What move(s) would you include in her program? and 3)what would her costume look like? If i could choose... i'd like Michelle to skate to 'Rhapsody in Blue'. I know that it has been used before by some skaters, but this is my absolute most favorite insrumental song in the whole world. It would be interesting to see her skate to it. 2) i would like to see her do a triple loop/triple loop or maybe a double axel/triple loop :) 3) i'm not real sure what the costume would look like as i'm not so sure what the best colors would be to go with her skin. Something that would go with the music though. Forgive me if this thread has ever been used. i thought it would be interesting to see what everyone would do if they ever had the oppurtunity to choreograph a program for Michelle. So, what are your ideas?

i'd pick something from the shakespeare in love soundtrack...just a variety of the instrumental stuff from it...and i dunno what her costume would look like but i think that whatever she'd pick would be just fine...as for moves i of course hafta include the kwan spiral and a oucple 3-3 combos...is it possible to do a triple axel-triple lutz combo? i was just wondering if that would even be a possible jump...but anyways, if not, a triple axel...hee hee...

I agree with Rhapsody in Blue. Illia Kulik skated to that for his long program at the 98 Oly. I ammediately thought of Michelle during the music.

Warsaw Concerto has a very similar flavor to Rhapsody in Blue, yet I don't think anyone skate to it yet. Some part of it also sounds like Rachmaninoff. It also has that flow a skater can do well. I'd like to see her skate in that piece of music.

Amei, you're a genius. Warsaw Concerto would be perfect for Michelle. I'd use a jewel tone dress-maybe midnight blue in velvet with shoulders & sleeves in same color sheer chiffon & a chiffon "scarf" on the skirt, like the one in On My Own.

I would love to see Michelle portray Joan of Arc. With the movie that came out not long ago she could find music there, I believe the movie was The Messenger.

Moonlight Sonata and with a small part of Pachebel's Canon would be a dream come true... I would have her bun back... with something a little shiny in her hair.. Her costume would have to be midnight blue with silver stuff on it... and the On My on type skirt... If she ever did this I would be ready to die.

well..hmm...what program would I choose for MK??:) Hmm...I'd have to say the music I'd choose for MK would be...I know I've said this time and time again..but..I'd really like her to skate to Arabian Passion which was used previously by Oksana and Pasha & Platov....I just love that music for some reason..it reminds me alot of Salome...her hair could be long or short although I'd prefer it more to be in a bun...costume? Mmm...maybe lavender with silver shot through? Or midnight blue instead...moves? Let's see...the Charlotte of course:) And the Kwan spiral....a triple/triple combo..I'd like to see her do a triple lutez/triple toe loop combo..and maybe triple axel heh...asking too much??? :)....

Midori Ito used that music back in 92. I can see her in it. Opening with a 3flip/3toe combination. Then a 3lutz/2toe combo, 3loop, 3sal, 3lutz, then end the program with a 3flip. As the costume goes, maybe something blue...like the color of "Lyra Angelica". I think the Rachmoninoff style really suits her, her Oly short program is my fav. all time short program.

If any of you watched the 98 Olympics opening ceremony you heard the Ode to Joy sung by choirs around the world together. It left me in tears it was so beautiful and awesome. This is powerful classical music and to my knowledge no one has used it. Now many skaters could skate to this music and well but in my opinion they couldn't do the awesome job Michelle could. She doens't just skate over or with music, when she is ON I don't know where music ends and she begins. I think this AWESOME music would be perfect for Michelle. She has the OOOMPH!!!! to match the OOOMPH!!! this music has. Gosh I wish I could find a clip of that entire section :-( If she used this for a short program how about for jumps 3 lutz/ 3 toe or loop, 3 axel instead of 2 axel & 3 flip ;-Þ OK OK! I am not trying to kill her, I just want her to soundly kick behind, Metaphorically Speaking of course ;-D

Hmmm...Wow, there are so many songs out there. It would be hard for me to decide. But I think Moonlight Sonata would be great! I could picture her in a light color (not sure what color) just something light. I would have her do a triple/triple probably a 3/sal 3/toe. I don't know just so much out there that Michelle would be great at!
