It wasn't until the music ended that I realized I had stopped breathing halfway through and had to gasp like a fish out of water. This performance has me in tears now. So beautiful. I want to say more to praise it but I can't think up the right words.

Yes, ladies is last, and they replayed ADITL. She was great. I hadn't seen her do Hands yet, but it was fabulous. And I know that I said that I didn't care for that dress, but she looks fantastic in it!

Hey ya'll!~ I finally got to see the whole entirety of Day in the Life unlike yesterday so I was so happy when they replayed it today:) I absolutely love it!!~ Michele looks so chic, so...so amazing:) So grownup!~ yeah that's the word I'm looking for! heh and Hands...I'm so glad to have finally seen that..it was well worth waiting for...so beautiful...I can't quite decide how high Hands is up in my favs but it's definitely one of mine:) And I didn't know that she had a new choregrapher to it...I bet the whole audience was spellbound because I was!~:) Michele just takes my breath away each time she skates..just like tonight... I definitely can't wait to see Nat'ls and Worlds now!!~:)

Absolutely the best performances of both programs so far! Michelle is awesome! I'm glad they replayed ADITL. I now have both programs on the same tape (plus in my old age, I forgot to watch last night--DUH!) Too bad ABC & ESPN didn't get the hint and play the entire programs for all of the GPF performances. Oh, Well! I'm very happy tonight....

in Hands. I was on the phone with a friend...and she said right before the beginning..."She's smiling." Cindy says she can always tell by her face how she will do......ADITL was so light and easy....both beautiful.......

ITA with Peter Carruther's commentation after Michelle skated....Polished, Prepared and PERFECTION. I would like to add.... Pretty Poised Polished Prepared PERFECTION!!!!! I think this is the best two programs that Michelle has skated at the same comp. She certainly deserved to win, for she had TWO awesome, elegant, programs. I really like her programs, her costumes, and most of all.....Michelle Kwan. She will never lose her special quality on the ice. She is just sooooooo special. Did anyone else notice that the commentators did not speak during her "Hands" program until the end. I REALLY appreciate that. It makes my video tape much more collectible and enjoyable. :-) Iceangel

Michelle was awesome. She stated it better than the first time we saw it. The 1st was the team competition. I know that these comps done before they aired so I actually don't know which came first. But I was in a zone this time. Not to bring maria up but somewhere it was posted that they thought maria might have won because she was that good. This is the best that I have seen maria skated all season and to carmen(I do like this program) but in no way was it close to michelle's.

When I finished watching Michelle skate "Hands" last night I realized that I had smiled through the entire program. The whole thing was nothing but pure joy!! I think that even the commentators were in silent awe. I even noticed the reserved Japanese audience clapping several times during the performance. AMEN to Peter Carruther's comments! Just a thought: Do you suppose Michelle's costume is flesh colored to go along with the theme of "hands"? In essence her whole body is being used as God's hand on earth?

Lovely, lovely performance of Hands. She just keeps getting more sleek, elegant, refined, fluid, and free in her skating - to throw in a few more adjectives to that list of P's:-)

GRRRRR my tape ran out so I didn't get Hands on tape!! WEEP! I did get ADITL though! Oh did MK mention how she did at UCLA during one of the interviews? My post-ADITL interview got partially taped over! :(

I watched the Japan Open last night, and let me tell you just sitting there watching Michelle just leaves you in awe. They showed her short program before the ladies took the ice and my husband just loves to watch MK skate. MK only changed choregrapher for that one program b/c MK said that Lori Nichols just had a kid so she wanted to let her get settled and she wasn't sure how it would work with Lori choregraphing with two kids running around. Even without Lori the other choregrapher did a fine job. I am not saying that Lori isn't good in any way b/c she is. I bet MK will be glad to get Lori back though.
